Clematis

I created a challenge on another art website and decided to try it myself. Having never drawn white hair before, I was challenged more then I knew. I had to figure out how to shade the waves without using gray which would have looked like graphite. Oddly enough, Olive worked out fine. Because of the unusual color of the hair, I choose the flower Clematis which I found to be unusual as well.

The original work was created on 11x14 sketch paper with color pencils.
